Chelsea's problems extend far beyond the field of play. The players are fighting amongst themselves amid a prolonged period of poor form.
Tuesday's 3-0 defeat away to Brighton and Hove Albion means Chelsea are now winless in all of their last five Premier League games. Their failure to score a single goal in those fixtures has only compiled the pressure on Liam Rosenior.
Prior to their defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion, the Blues were beaten, at home, to Manchester United following a first half winner from Matheus Cunha, and it seems all is not well behind the scenes.
Chelsea squad recently targeted Alejandro Garnacho in dressing room
Alejandro Garnacho, although he didn't start against his former club, was the focal point of that game. The Argentine was brought on for the injured Estevao after just 16 minutes but had another night to forget.
And judging by recent reports, the 21-year-old was made to feel even more uncomfortable by his own teammates during the half time interval.
According to The Sun, some of Garnacho's Chelsea teammates 'went for him' in the dressing room, likely due to his failure to stop Bruno Fernandes' cross which led to Cunha's opener.
Rosenior opted to keep Garnacho on the pitch for the second half but the winger continued in much the same fashion. He lost possession 15 more times and failed to register a single shot on target throughout.
Worrying times for Chelsea as Garnacho decision looms
Garnacho's ill-advised recent decision to remove all mention of Chelsea Football Club from his social media has not helped him.
Not only have his former Old Trafford teammates stuck the knife in, but now it seems his new teammates are doing the same.
Clearly a divisive figure, on and off the pitch, Garnacho appears to have few allies to help guide him through what is undoubtedly the toughest spell of his senior career to date.

Although Chelsea could cut him loose at the end of the season, failure to recoup a decent fee could see the Argentine forced to continue, and should that be the case, he must attempt to get his teammates back on side.
There is no way this Chelsea squad — already lacking leaders — can prepare for another season with the stains of this one still hanging over their heads.
Should Garnacho continue to be a member of the squad beyond the summer, the club must ensure he integrates better.
