Chelsea have recently made the signing of Jorrel Hato official. The club are reportedly close to bringing in Xavi Simons and could possibly move for Alejandro Garnacho as well. Meanwhile, as the arrivals are slowly expected to progress, that's not the case for the departures from the club. They are moving at a rapid pace that is hard to keep up with.

A significant number of players, including Kepa Arrizabalaga, Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrovic and Joao Felix, among others, have already found new clubs. Several others are expected to follow.

It was earlier reported that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. Now there has been some major development in that regard.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Dewsbury-Hall will undergo his medical at Everton on Tuesday. Chelsea are set to receive £25m plus £4m add-ons for the transfer.

Chelsea accept Everton’s £25 million offer to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

The 26-year-old, who joined Chelsea just a year ago from Leicester City, had his fair share of minutes in the last season. He made 36 appearances, including 5 matches in the Club World Cup. But all things considered, he was a backup option. A lot of those opportunities are also expected to dry up once the Blues go from playing in the Conference League to the Champions League.

While there’s little doubt regarding the quality the Englishman possesses, Chelsea are already stacked in the midfield department. Additionally, they have brought back Andrey Santos into the fold after his excellent loan spell at Strasbourg and are looking to bring in Simons as well.

So the Blues’ decision to make some room in the midfield area is understandable, and in the process the club is raising some funds as well. Dewsbury-Hall isn’t the only one to leave either, as Carney Chukwuemeka is also expected to find a new club soon, with Borussia Dortmund heavily linked with the player.

Although Dewsbury-Hall’s time at Chelsea was short-lived, he surely played his part in last season’s success, which saw the club crowned World Champions and lift the Conference League. We wish the player all the best in his future endeavours.
